Raw Recipes -Raw Nutella Slice Recipe

I recently discovered hazelnut tastes exactly like Nutella minus the chocolate so it got me thinking...why shouldn't Vegans and Raw food Recipe lovers have nutella to?!!

I have one topic to address before you go and make this recipe and that is to answer the sweetening debate. i.e. Honey..Maple..or Agave.

So why do I give the option of three different sweeteners?

Raw Foods - Almond Butter Chocolate Pies Recipe

Raw Foods - Almond Butter Chocolate Pies Recipe
Just Can't get enough of this raw foods pie!

YUM how insanely incredible does this raw foods recipe look? I have been on a real journey lately to cut out some of the slightly highly intolerant foods and still create amazing recipes. Both Nick and I have been finding that a few of our much loved ingredients like coconut oil and cashews have been contributing to random bouts of eczema and upset tummy's! Gosh you would think that going Raw and Vegan was enough wouldn't you?! I think when it comes down to it, you really have to listen to your own body - we are not all the same and there is no one true way or one true diet.
Raw foods are very important as you all know because it's the only way to make sure you are getting the nutritional quality from your food and over cooking can destroy any of the good stuff and render it in a such a state that your body doesn't recognize it as food..what a mess! But when it comes to exactly which raw foods it's a process of elimination when you are picking your best diet.

Raw Foods Recipes - Chocolate Caramel Star biscuits

The kiddies will LOVE these little beauties!
Really excited to announce that I have a Raw Food for Kids book coming out VERY soon! To get into the spirit of things I thought a cute little easy kids snack would be a nice start! Although there is plenty of big kids in my house that enjoy them just the same. These are a great alternative to having biscuits in the house. You could triple or even go 4 timers the recipe and make a bigger one etc to. Best thing is they are fueled with Omega 3's from the Walnuts and plenty of iron from the dates so they are a healthy way to feed the troops some naughty treats without the bad side effects! Keep in mind calorie control is always important in weight maintenance no matter what you are eating.
